Worth naming as a virtue. Buffer has resisted becoming a platform, which is why it stays fast and cheap.<\/p>\n
Hootsuite’s original strength. Columns showing mentions, keywords, hashtags and competitor activity in real time. If you need to watch conversations rather than just publish into them, Buffer has no equivalent.<\/p>\n
Assignments, approval chains and role-based permissions. For a team where posts must be approved before publishing \u2014 regulated industries, larger organisations, agencies with client sign-off \u2014 this is not optional and Buffer’s equivalent is much lighter.<\/p>\n
Upload a spreadsheet of hundreds of posts at once. For agencies loading a quarter of content, this saves genuine hours.<\/p>\n
Sentiment, share of voice and competitor benchmarking on higher tiers. Real capability if you need it, and priced accordingly.<\/p>\n
